<p>An optical disk storage system is provided with an optical disk cartridge, a plurality of optical disk drives, and an optical disk transfer device. The optical disk cartridge comprises a plurality of partition plates and houses a plurality of flexible optical disks while the optical disks and the plurality of partition plates are placed alternately one by one. The optical disk cartridge is provided with a plurality of pressurization members and a plurality of partition plate rotation mechanisms. The plurality of pressurization members are respectively connected to the plurality of partition plates and apply, to the plurality of partition plates, pressures for fixing the flexible optical disks corresponding thereto. The plurality of partition plate rotation mechanisms are respectively connected to the plurality of partition plates, and upon receiving rotation power from the outside, transmit power for enabling the plurality of flexible optical disks to be taken out one by one to the plurality of partition plates at different timings.</p> |
