PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting bovine urolithiasis in an initial stage, or a method for detecting the possibility of development of bovine urolithiasis previously, before the outbreak thereof. SOLUTION: It is found that there exists a correlation between a concentration of a mineral contained in hair and a pathology of urolithiasis, and it is clarified that the initial symptom of urolithiasis can be detected, or that the possibility of development of urolithiasis can be detected, before the outbreak thereof.
