PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium handling system and a corresponding device for each game table, which determine whether there is any risk of cheating to have the corresponding device for the each game table count game medium brought from other game shops or game tables and of unfair gambling to introduce any malfunction into a counting sensor by using a tool, or not. SOLUTION: The game medium handling system includes the corresponding device that is provided corresponding to the each game table and capable of conducting paying process for the game medium used for the game and a counting process for the game medium obtained by a player. The game medium handling system comprises a counting process detection part to detect that the counting process is conducted, a paying operation reception part to accept an operation for paying the game medium to the game table, a paying operation detection part to detect that the paying operation reception part has received the paying operation, and an abnormal counting determination part to determine whether the counting process might be abnormal or not based on detection result by the paying operation detection part.
