PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor for securing a required oil quantity of lubricating oil by improving a degree of freedom of design by setting a position of an accumulator to a sealed vessel, and an air conditioner for improving refrigerating cycle efficiency by constituting a refrigerating cycle having the rotary compressor. SOLUTION: The rotary compressor A has a plurality of branch passages 15a and 15b for storing a compression mechanism 2 having cylinder chambers 14a and 14b by sandwiching an intermediate partition plate 7 in the sealed vessel 1 having an oil storage part 16 and communicating with the respective cylinder chambers from a main suction passage 15 for sucking and guiding a refrigerant in the radial direction to the intermediate partition plate, and has an accumulator E by being separated from the sealed vessel. The accumulator and the main suction passage communicate with each other by a suction refrigerant pipe P. The suction refrigerant pipe is formed of a first suction refrigerant pipe Pa connected to at least the main suction passage and a second suction refrigerant pipe Pb connected to the first suction refrigerant pipe opening end and communicate with the accumulator.
