The lock (1) has a lock holder (5) provided with a base plate and retaining bolts, which are designed as brackets and provided with a chromium layer. The base plate and the retaining bolts comprise transverse bore-holes. The base plate is designed as a partial piece. The transverse bore-holes are designed as manholes and manufactured by rolling process. The retaining bolts are designed as another partial piece, which is manufactured by a suitable processing method. The partial pieces are connected with each other via a laser welding method. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a lock holder.
