PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending machine with high productive efficiency which facilitates shift of production for a different type of works in a short period of time, when multiple types of works are bent with the same bending profile (for example, bending angle) but at different bending positions. SOLUTION: The bending machine 100 includes a work transfer device 1, a metal die 10 composed of a punch 2 and a die 4 as a set, a stand 5 to support the metal die 10 movably via a rail 5a, and a metal die transportation means 20 to move the metal die 10. After the metal die 10 is transferred by the metal die transportation means 20 and set at a designated position, the works W1, W2 are transferred right below the punch 2 of the metal die 10 by the work transfer device 1 and the works W1, W2 are set.
