<p>PURPOSE: An automatic dimming system is provided to reduce power consumption by comprehensively considering the brightness of a peripheral area and a display image. CONSTITUTION: A distance information detecting unit(2) detects the distance between an image device and a user and outputs distance information between the image device and the user. A brightness detecting unit(4) detects the brightness of a preset region and outputs brightness information which shows the brightness of the preset region. A light emitting control unit(6) controls the emission of a light radiation unit.</p> |
