PURPOSE: A transmit device, an information providing system using the same and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to revise their information easily and enable a serer to revise information of a sending device according to the revision, thereby receiving a service based on location information periodically. CONSTITUTION: A GPS unit(110) calculates the location of a sending device(100) to output the location. A memory(120) stores information including the connection number of a predetermined server. An interface unit(150) performs a communication function with a mobile terminal(200). The updated information comprises at least one among a message sending period or connection number of the server.
