<p>The method involves associating a combustion engine with an exhaust line (9) comprising a nitrogen oxide reduction catalyst (15) and a particle filter (18) in a direction of exhaust gas flow. Fuel is injected in combustion chambers of a combustion engine during regenerations of the particle filter in a point of an exhaust line located between the nitrogen oxide reduction catalyst and the particle filter. The engine is operated in an operating mode according to a calibration minimizing rejections of carbon dioxide by the engine. An independent claim is also included for a power train comprising a combustion engine.</p> |
