PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cooling products capable of efficiently cooling the products of an electrolysis plant by an adsorption heat pump and of further promoting energy saving and environmental conservation in the electrolysis plant. SOLUTION: In the electrolysis plant, electrolysis of salt water is performed, and by cooling obtained products, chlorine, hydrogen and caustic soda are produced. For cooling the products in the electrolysis plant, the adsorption heat pump for performing heat transfer by adsorption/desorption operation of adsorbate by adsorbent is used, and by Joule heat generated by the electrolysis, the desorption operation of the adsorbate is performed.
