PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange images in positions intended by a user to carry out printing by performing the same setting to all print jobs even when images of different document sizes are intermixed in PDF direct printing.

SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus for printing image data of a plurality of different document sizes on paper of the same size has a computing means for computing print positions for printing the image data on the paper based on the document sizes, the paper size and input moving quantity computed information, and a print processing means for arranging the image data on the paper based on the print positions computed by the computing means to carry out printing.
