<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet for liquid crystal display, the optical sheet preventing the deterioration of luminance and reducing luminance unevenness without increasing the number of light sources. <P>SOLUTION: The optical unit includes, on an optical path of light emitted from the light source: a diffusion plate 6 having a plate-like prism that includes a function of diffusing incident light; and an optical sheet 7 having a first micro lens, wherein the optical sheet includes a plurality of micro lenses having a near-hemisphere or a near-semi-ellipsoid on a light-emitting side. The diffusion plate 6 having the prism includes a light-diffusion part, a first prism part and a second prism part. The first prism part includes: a sawtooth cross-section formed on one surface facing the light source of the light diffusion part; and an apex angle facing the direction to the light source. The second prism part includes: a sawtooth cross-section formed on the other surface of the light diffusion part; and an apex angle facing a direction opposite to the apical angle of the first projection prism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
