REAUTHENTICATION METHOD

Extensible reauthentication method for EAP-FRM rapid authentication implemented in portable terminals belonging to subscriber clients of a wireless telecommunication network and in authentication modules included at access points of the telecommunication network, with said access points being able to be server modules which execute the extensible authentication protocol (EAP - the EAP server), said protocol being executed in the client terminal and in the authentication means. If the authentication module is not able to authorize access to the access point by the client terminal, the authentication module communicates with an EAP server module or with a local EAP/AAA server (AAA: authentication, authorization and accounting) in the telecommunication network to which the client terminal subscribes and/or with an EAP/AAA server in another wireless telecommunication network.
