CELLULOSE ACYLATE FILM, POLARIZING PLATE, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film useful for a liquid crystal display apparatus and having a small longitudinal strain during the wet heat change thereof and having excellent wet heat durability of the retardation thereof in an in-plane direction and/or a film thickness direction.

SOLUTION: This cellulose acylate film is a cellulose acylate film in which an acyl group substitution degree DS of a cellulose acylate satisfies the equation (A): 2.0≤DS<2.8 and an absolute value of a change amount of the thickness direction retardation value Rth(590) at a wavelength of 590 nm between before and after the cellulose acylate film is left at rest under conditions of 60°C and 90% of a relative humidity for 24 hours is 5 nm or less, and which is produced by drawing and in which a value AR produced by dividing a dimension change rate of the film in a drawing direction by a dimension change rate of the film in a direction perpendicular to the drawing direction after the drawing is 1.15 to 1.8.
