PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery including a display showing a remaining capacity of the battery even if no current flows. SOLUTION: A battery 7 includes a microcapsule-type electrophoretic display part 8 disposed at a position visible from the outside. The display part 8 changes by the change of an applied voltage caused by a voltage change according to the remaining capacity of the battery 7.
