<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and obtain low-speed attenuation waveform data and high-speed attenuation waveform data from original waveform data representing waveform of musical instrument sound. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of peaks corresponding to harmonic components are detected from a spectral distribution obtained by performing Fourier transform of the whole original waveform data collectively, and a plurality of spectrum components corresponding to the plurality of peaks are specified. The plurality of specified spectrum components and spectrum components adjacent thereto from the spectrum components obtained by performing the collective Fourier transform are extracted and subjected to inverse Fourier transform to obtain the low-speed attenuation waveform data. The high-speed attenuation waveform data is obtained by subtracting the low-speed attenuation waveform data from the original waveform data. Also, the low-speed attenuation component waveform data may be obtained by detecting a peak locus with slow attenuation from a plurality of peak loci of the spectrum components over the whole original waveform and using the detected peak locus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
