PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virucidal agent composition for calicivirus which has an excellent virucidal effect and is highly safe for handling, and a method for application of the same. SOLUTION: The virucidal agent for calicivirus includes 1,4-bis(3,3'-(1-decyl pyridinium)methyloxy)butane dibromide and an ethylenediamine tetraacetate as effective components. The virucidal method for calicivirus comprises bringing 1,4-bis(3,3'-(1-decyl pyridinium)methyloxy)butane dibromide into contact with caliciviruses in the presence of the ethylenediamine tetraacetate.
