<p>The gear has a toothed rack (3) mounted in bearings (10) in a direction of a longitudinal axis (4) in a steering housing (1). A steering pinion (5) is rotatably mounted in a pinion housing (2) at an axis. The pinion has a pinion tooth system staying in contact with a tooth system of the rack. The bearings are formed as eccentric sliding bearings that are rotated with respect to the steering housing so that the rack is fed in a direction to the steering pinion. The steering housing has an embossing (7) at a side turned away from the pinion housing and reaching near the toothed rack.</p> |
