<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform discounting processing at the same time when performing sales processing of commodity sales data only by reading a package of data for radio tags attached to purchased commodities in one trade. <P>SOLUTION: During a period when reading data for the commodities to which the tags are attached, from the commodity radio tags attached to the purchased commodities in one trade, whether discounting data is read or not from discounting radio tags in which discounting data is stored is determined. When the discounting data is determined to be read, the discounting data is stored. After ending the period for reading the data for the commodity radio tags in one trade, whether the discounting data is stored or not is determined.
