<p>The turbomachine has a guide-blade carrier (10) mounted in a housing such that the carrier is displaced parallel to an axis of the turbomachine. An adjusting ring (16) is supported on the housing and on the carrier at contact surfaces of the ring, housing and carrier. The ring is rotated about the axis of the turbomachine. The contact surfaces are set with respect to a plane which is perpendicular to the axis such that the guide-blade carrier is displaced axially by the adjusting ring when the adjusting ring is rotated about the axis.</p>
