FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to thoracic surgery and can be used in reconstructive diaphragm operations, particularly in defects plasty following extensive diaphragm resection. Substance of the method consists in diaphragm defect closure with an implant to be fixed to the diaphragm and/or the chest wall circumferentially. The diaphragm defect is closed with a mesh implant projecting out the diaphragm defect edges by at least 20 mm at mesh size 100-250 mcm mixed by textile technology of superelastic Ti-Ni filament of diametre 50-60 mcm and tension-free fixed to the diaphragm and/or the chest wall by interrupted sutures with superelastic Ti-Ni filament of diametre 50-60 mcm. The implant is fixed circumferentially by interrupted ""-sutures to be knotted over the diaphragm. And fixation to the chest wall is performed by interrupted ""-sutures pericostally to form a skin knot, while internal and external implant edges are duplicated. ^ EFFECT: use of the given invention allows reducing a number of postoperative complications, improving reliability of diaphragm defect plasty. ^ 2 ex, 6 dwg |
