<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight electric steering lock device enhancing the durability of a cam gear. <P>SOLUTION: The electric steering lock device 10 includes a rotating body 30 rotated by the driving force of an electric motor 26, and a locking member 49 movable between the locking position to be engaged with a steering shaft 1 and the unlocking position to be disengaged therefrom through the rotation of the rotating body 30. The rotating body 30 has a resin-made gear member 33 having a gear groove 34 on the outer circumferential surface thereof, and a metallic cam member 39 for operating the locking member 49, and connects the cam member 39 in a relatively non-rotatable manner by overlapping it in the extending direction of a rotary shaft 31 of the gear member 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
