<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management system capable of accurately deducing the position of a management object article. <P>SOLUTION: The article management system includes: IC tags T1-Tn disposed to the management object articles P1-Pn and storing identification information of the management object articles P1-Pn; an IC tag reader 21 disposed so as to freely scan the space where the management object articles P1-Pn are disposed, for reading the identification information from the IC tags T1-Tn; an ultrasonic distance measuring apparatus 22 disposed so as to freely scan following the IC tag reader 21, for measuring a distance from the management object articles P1-Pn; and a position calculation task 34 for deducing the positions of the management object articles P1-Pn on the basis of a scanning position when the IC tag reader 21 reads the identification information and the distance measured by the ultrasonic distance measuring apparatus 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
