<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle existence notification device 1 suppressing diffusion of notification sound while it does not request any speaker 2 of large capacity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle existence notification device 1, the speaker 2 is fitted to a reflector 4 of a headlamp 3, the direction of radiation of the notification sound is determined by the reflector 4, and an ECU 6 controls the operation of an optical axis variable mechanism 5 to control the direction of radiation of the notification sound. Thus, the reflector 4 can be used for a parabola of the notification sound, and the directivity of the notification sound can be enhanced. By controlling the operation of the optical axis variable mechanism 5, and making the direction of radiation of the notification sound by the reflector 4 variable, the notification sound of high directivity, in other words, the diffusion-suppressed notification sound can be radiated in the direction where a pedestrian or the like is present. Thus, without using any speaker 2 of large capacity, diffusion of the notification sound can be suppressed to notify the existence of a vehicle to a pedestrian or the like.
