PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device allowing anyone to easily set a degree of defocusing regarding focus control about the effect of zooming-during-exposure image pickup. SOLUTION: In the imaging device having a function of zooming-during-exposure image pickup, the imaging device includes: a zoom lens drive control part 109 driving a zoom lens 101 for changing a focal length; and a focus drive control part 112 driving a focus lens 104 for obtaining a focused state of an object. In a first mode, in accordance with a control instruction of a system control part 118, the focus drive control part 112 drives the focus lens to a focusing position of the focus lens 104 focusing on the object with the position of the zoom lens 101 driven during exposure. In a second mode, it drives the focus lens 104 not to the focusing position of the focus lens 104 focusing on the object with the zoom lens position, but to a position shifted from the focusing position by a prescribed amount, for the zoom lens 101 driven during exposure.
