<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control system capable of reducing wasteful power consumption of a power source in a building where a small base station for a femtocell is installed. <P>SOLUTION: In case a position monitoring means 104 of a base station 103 for a macro cell that has a macro cell 106 including a predetermined area A detects that there is at least one cellular phone 102 with a GPS function that has a function for communicating with a small base station 108 for femtocell within the area A, a power control means 105 causes a power supply device 109 to supply power to the small base station 108 for femtocell. If no cellular phone 102 with a GPS function is found within the area A, the power control means 105 causes the power supply device 109 to stop power supply.
