<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plating tool capable of preventing plating liquid from dripping to a substrate which is pulled up from the plating liquid. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plating tool 10 serving as a tool which holds attachably and detachably the rectangular substrate 50 and immerses the substrate 50 into a plating liquid comprises: a pair of longitudinal members 21, 22 which hold both side edges 51, 52 in the width direction of the substrate 50; and an upper horizontal member 23 which is disposed on the upper part than the upper edge 53 of the held substrate 50 and connects the longitudinal members 21, 22 to each other, wherein the lower edge 231 of the upper horizontal member 23 forms a projecting shape upwards.
