PURPOSE: A parasol is provided, which can guarantee the development and the smooth folding operation of a parasol and obtain stable assembly of each element. CONSTITUTION: A parasol comprises: a headstock(11) locating in the center; a fixed hub(12) fixed to the headstock; an operation hub(13) which is installed on the headstock to be movable to the top and bottom; and a rib structure(20) which is installed between the fixed hub and operation hub and operates the roof. The rib structure includes: a first rib(21) in which one end is hinge-coupled with the fixed hub; a second rib(22) in which one end is hinge-coupled with the operation hub; a third rib(23) hinge-coupled with the other end of the first rib; and a fourth rib(24) hinge-coupled with the other ends of the second rib and third rib.
