PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately register sales data from a POS register to the other POS register regardless of whether the system is on-line or not. SOLUTION: A CPU 11 reads daily account information stored in an RAM 13. The CPU 11 stores the account information on a sale item for each sale transaction, and calculates the total of the account information on proper-price items for each item code and stores it. Then, the CPU 11 causes a printing part 19 to output a summary report shows the result of calculating the total of the account information for each item code and the result of storing the account information for each sale transaction, separately.
