PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for securing the sealing when mud material is pressed in, which, in the repairing of a molten iron tapping-hole surface in a blast furnace, has a simple structure, fittable to the tip-end part of a mud-gun nozzle in a mud-pouring machine and which is smoothened for short time with a simple-operation by trimming the molten iron tapping-hole surface hardened with the fusion, etc., in the blast furnace. SOLUTION: Under state of closely touching the end surface of the pouring mud-gun nozzle with the end surface of the molten iron tapping-hole, by using a bit 1 fitted to the front surface of the apparatus, fitted to the end-tip part N of the pouring mud-gun nozzle N in the mud-gun M; the molten iron tapping-hole is crushed by utilizing hitting-rebounding force of a piston included in the apparatus and also, at least wider range than the end surface of the mud-gun nozzle N is smoothened in the molten iron tapping-hole surface S by rotating the bit with a motor fitted to the rear side of the apparatus, and thus, this apparatus is constituted so as to improve the sealing of the mud-material at the cylinder-tip part in the pressing-in time of the mud-material.
