<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die cutting method for a long film which can suppress the exhaustion of a specific part of an underlay sheet and a defective cutting caused thereby, reduce the frequency of exchanges of the underlay sheet and save a production cost, and a device used for the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The long film (10) having products (11) at prescribed intervals in a longitudinal direction are overlapped on the endless belt shaped underlay sheet (4), and integrally moved forward and then die-cut the products (11) at a die cutting part (3). On a section of circulating path of the underlay sheet (4) where the long film is not overlapped, the running position of the underlay sheet (4) is displaced in the direction of width (y) with a lateral conveying device (45).
