<p>The motor (10) has a rotatable coil (16), and a temperature cutting off device for cutting off electric current supplied to the motor, where temperature-dependent components of the temperature cutting off device are spatially separated from the coil. A heat producing device is provided for the temperature-dependent components that comprise a temperature sensor or a temperature safety device. A current flowing resistor (30) i.e. linear or non-linear resistor, is provided as an additional device for producing heat. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an explosion resistant low power motor.</p> |
