PURPOSE: A mechanical chuck for pipe fixing is provided to prevent slip by applying a strong compression force with small torque to maintain clamping during the rotation thereof. CONSTITUTION: A mechanical chuck for pipe fixing comprises a hexagonal rotary cam(100), a movable jaw(130), a sliding roller pin(132), a spring seating groove, and a ring-shaped spring(134). The hexagonal rotary cam is connected to a drive motor of a mechanism via a shaft. The movable jaw is divided into three parts to be installed in three directions on the exterior of the hexagonal rotary cam and pushed back by the rotation of the cam. A part of the cross section of the sliding roller pin is inserted into the movable jaw while the other protrudes outside. The spring seating groove applies a clamping force so that three parts of the movable jaw are returned after opening. The ring-shaped spring applies an elastic clamping force to the center of the hexagonal rotary cam.
