METHANE FERMENTATION SYSTEM AND FERTILIZER PRODUCTION APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methane fermentation system providing a fermented liquid which causes less nitrogen contamination of ground water when returned to farmland as a fertilizer and fertilizer production equipment using it.

SOLUTION: The methane fermentation system includes a methane fermentation tank, a temperature-raising tank raising the temperature of the fermented liquid from the methane fermentation tank above the fermentation temperature of the methane fermentation tank and an ammonia removal unit removing ammonia from the fermented liquid from the temperature-raising tank. Organic nitrogen in the fermented liquid from the methane fermentation tank is decomposed to ammonia-type nitrogen to increase the content of ammonia-type nitrogen, and ammonia is removed by the ammonia removal unit in the later stage, enabling reduction of the nitrogen in a methane fermented liquid.
