PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing device and deodorizing method for washing water inhibiting unpleasant odor of the washing water. SOLUTION: An electrolyzed water generation means 2 electrolyzes an electrolyte solution to generate strong acid water and strong alkali water. An acid container 3 stores the generated strong acid water therein, and an alkali container 4 stores the generated strong alkali water therein. A mist container 5 is connected to the alkali container 4 to receive a part of the strong alkali water in the alkali container 4 so as to generate deodorizing mist. An outlet port 6a is selectively connected to the acid container 3, alkali container 4, and a water pipe 8 so that the strong acid water, strong alkali water, and tap water could be discharged therethrough. A mist discharge part 7 is provided around the strong acid water or tap water discharged from the outlet port 6a so that the deodorizing mist of the strong alkali water in the mist container 5 could be sprayed to surround the strong acid water or tap water.
