<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device, an authentication method and a user authentication system, capable of further accurately performing individual authentication. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a control means which performs, when a face image printed on a user authentication medium is determined to be mismatched with a user's face, illicit detection to information stored in the user authentication medium, and then determines, when biological information acquired from the user is matched to biological information data stored in the user authentication medium, that the user is a valid user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
