PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for decreasing the size and thickness of a purging mechanism. SOLUTION: A printer section 11 includes: a first cap 31, a second cap 32; a pump 33 for generating suction pressure; and a first tube 36 and second tube 37 connecting the first cap 31, second cap 32, and pump 33 one another; and a cam mechanism 34. While holding the first and second caps 31 and 32 in a first position, a slide cam 40 is slidable between a slide position where the first tube 36 or second tube 37 is selectively compressed and another slide position where both these tubes are uncompressed. While holding the first and second caps 31 and 32 in a second position, the slide cam 40 is slidable in the slide position where the first tube 36 or second tube 37 is selectively compressed.
