<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display exposure level corresponding to a region of interest of a display image on a display screen easily-to-understand. <P>SOLUTION: The image display apparatus 100 includes an image input unit 101 for input of an image signal, a waveform generation unit 201 for displaying the signal level of the input image signal as a waveform, a region specifying unit 107 for specifying a predetermined region of the image signal, a display unit 103 for displaying the image signal and waveform on the display device, and a control unit 102 for controlling the display unit so that the display unit displays the waveforms of signal levels included in a region specified by a region specifying unit and the other region while changing the display method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
