<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer circuit capable of reading a pixel signal from an imaging element at a high speed without extending a circuit scale. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging element includes: a plurality of pixels 19 arranged in a two-dimensional manner; a plurality of vertical output lines 13A, 13B, to which the plurality of pixels are connected, respectively, arranged at an interval of predetermined rows at each of columns of the plurality of pixels; a first signal storage section 15 for storing pixel signals transferred from the pixels through the plurality of vertical output lines; a second signal storage section 20 for storing a pixel signal transferred form the first signal storage section; and a horizontal transfer section 16 for horizontally transferring the pixel signal stored in the second signal storage section. While pixel signals are transferred from pixels to the first signal storage section through the plurality of vertical output lines, the pixel signal already stored in the second signal storage section is horizontally transferred by the horizontal transfer section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
