<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data distribution method and system, communication apparatus and program in which, in broadcast data delivery in a wireless ad-hoc network environment, a transfer cover range of data can be expanded while reducing the number of transfer nodes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a transfer timer expires, a node, that performs broadcast transfer of data, performs the broadcast transfer using a transmission processing section 109 by adding to the transfer data information on packet reception in the transfer node by means of a transfer data generation section 108. If the same data are received already and a node, in which the transfer timer does not expire yet, receives data transferred from a different transmission source node from the node of the last time, based on receiving state information of the receiving node's own about the same received data and receiving state information of the node that has transmitted the transfer data, the receiving node continues data transfer processing only when a transfer range expansion determination section 103 determines that data transfer is valid.
