PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel, and a fabrication method thereof are provided to prevent the impure ions from entering a valid display region through an acceptance space. CONSTITUTION: A color filter substrate and an array substrate(11) are classified as cells through a seal, and an acceptance space(15) receives an liquid crystal between an edge portion and the seal in a valid display region. The edge portion of the valid display region is placed between the color filter substrate and the array substrate. The acceptance space is formed in lateral protrusion shape.
