PURPOSE: A voice quality diagnostic apparatus and a diagnostic method thereof for measuring the voice quality without the input error of an originating terminal are provided to directly receive the telephone number of the originator without the manipulation of a user. CONSTITUTION: A second external input and output unit(210-2) transmits a transmitting telephone number and a telephone call command from a controller to a connected origination terminal. The second external input and output unit receives the origination signal information from the origination terminal. The second external input and output unit outputs the received origination signal information to the controller. A speech quality measuring unit(240) receives a call-quality test command.
