PURPOSE: A jewel coating agent and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain high hardness without discharging harmful components, to show original colors of jewels without a separate chemical treatment, and to obtain functionality such as an antibacterial effect. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a jewel coating agent comprises: a step(S10) of manufacturing a SiO_2 binder; a step(S20) of pulverizing jewels through a dry pulverizing process and a wet pulverizing process; a step(S30) of performing a dispersion treatment by coating a part of the product from the first step on the surface of jewels having a particle size of 5-100 nm; and mixing the treated jewels with the SiO_2 binder in a ratio of 1:99 - 20:80wt%. |
