A NEW TRANSDERMAL COMPOSITION OF DEXIBUPROFEN

PURPOSE: A novel transdermal preparation of dexibuprofen is provided to constantly release drug with reduced side effects. CONSTITUTION: A transdermal preparation contains dexibuprofen as an active ingredient. The transdermal preparation comprises a support layer and a storage layer with dexibuprofen which is an active ingredient, drug release controlling agent, and polymer adhesive. The transdermal preparation contains 0.3-30 weight% of dexibupropene drug storage layer, 50.0-90.0 weight% of adhesive, 0.1-30 weight% of drug release controlling agent. The adhesive is polyisobytylene(PIB), styrene-dien-styrene polymer(styrene-isoprene-styrene copolymer)(SIS). The drug release controlling agent is fatty acid ether, non-ionic surfactant, isopropylmyristate, vegetable oil(castor oil), triacetin, or fatty acid.
