摘要 PURPOSE: An active front wheel steering device with an epicycloid ball reducer is provided to increase the mechanical strength of a reducer, to decrease the volume and the weight and to provide a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: An active front wheel steering device with an epicycloid ball reducer comprises an ECU(301), a motor(315) and an epicycloid ball reducer(320). The ECU receives the vehicle information through a steering angle sensor. The ECU produces a control value for a targeted steering ratio according to the vehicle information. The motor is driven with the control value produced through the ECU and rotates an input shaft. The epicycloid ball reducer comprises a housing, an input shaft and an input plate. The housing comprises through-holes formed on its either side. The input shaft is inserted into the through-hole adjacent to the motor. The input plate transfers the eccentric torque by an eccentric shaft in rotation of the input shaft.
