WATER PURIFYING APPARATUS USING A HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE MODULE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for purifying water using a hollow fiber membrane is provided to enhance backwashing effect by simultaneously backwashing several filter units and to enable a user to easily confirm the damages to the hollow fiber membrane through a transparent widow. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for purifying water: first and second filter units(10,20) including first and second tubular elements(11,21) with a plurality of hollow fiber membranes(50); first and second drain lines(13,23) having one ends which are connected to the upper ends of first and second external rooms; a main drain line(D); first and second supply lines(15,25); a main supply line(F); and a purification line(W). The upper end of a filtered water chamber(105) of the purification line is connected to a pneumatic source(106) for supplying compressed air.
