First and second images obtained by continuous shot photographing are stored in respective image holding units (2A, 2B). A feature point extraction unit (5) and a symmetry feature point extraction (6) extract, from the first image, a pair of feature points present at symmetrical positions with respect to the central point of the image. A feature point tracking unit (9) tracks the pair of feature points in the second image. A shift amount calculation unit (10) calculates an average value of the shift amounts of the pair of feature points between the first image and the second image, thereby obtaining the parallel shift component of a camera-shake. The rotation angle and zoom ratio of the camera-shake is calculated by subtracting the parallel shift component from the shift amount of the feature point.
