<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor for eddy current measurements capable of measuring a shape part in addition to a shaft part of a rotationally symmetric part and enlarging the range of application of eddy current measurements. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sensor for eddy current measurements includes both an exciting coil 20 for applying a prescribed AC excitation signal to a work 15 (an object part to be measured) and a detection coil 30 for detecting detection signals by an eddy current from the work 15 to which the AC excitation signal is applied. The sensor for eddy current measurements includes a plurality of solenoid coils 21 connected to each other in a state arranged in parallel in such a way that their winding directions may alternate as the exciting coil 20.
