<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR cooler less liable to thermal deformation due to a great thermal expansion difference between an inlet side tank and itself, and preventive of crack. <P>SOLUTION: The EGR cooler 10 includes a case 11 inside which cooling water flows, a plurality of tubes 12 inside which exhaust gas flows and which are stored in the case 11, a header plate 13 to which the ends of the plurality of tubes 12 are joined and which is joined to the end of the case 11, and the inlet side tank 14 into which the exhaust gas enters and which is joined to the end of the case 11. In the inlet side tank 14, a shielding member 19 is provided for shielding a peripheral wall portion of the inlet side tank 14 from the entering exhaust gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
