<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell stack of a segmented-in-series solid oxide fuel cell enhancing reliability or power generation efficiency by increasing the strength of a support while holding the open pore porosity of the support, and to provide a fuel cell including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cell stack of the segmented-in-series solid oxide fuel cell is formed by arranging in parallel a plurality of unit cells 13 of the fuel cell on the surface of an electrically insulating support 11 including gas passages 12 on the inside, and connecting in series the plurality of unit cells 13. The support 11 contains MgO particles and Y<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>particles, and the average length of the joining parts of the MgO particles and the Y<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>particles are made 0.1-2 μm. The fuel cell is manufactured by housing a plurality of cell stacks of the segmented-in-series solid oxide fuel cell in a housing container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
